Message	The blankets are pretty interesting. Again I am guessing that they are necessary to maximize heat retention given the manifold design. I haven't seen any temperature ratings for these blankets but they appear similar to other turbo blankets on the market. The kit comes with some thin wire wraps to secure the blanket to the manifold. Mixmanmash suggested throwing those in the garbage and using some stainless steel zip ties instead. I agree. ( plastic zip ties are shown in the pics...) Fitment is excellent iMO. It will be interesting to see how effective these are and how they hold up over time.
